That's what I call coffee. For me just the smell of it makes me feel productive. Studies show how coffee can reduce swelling in the brain and help with headaches. It also increases your energy. A lot can happen over a cup of coffee. There is a new trend in the business world. If you go to the nearest Starbucks or Panera Bread or any other coffee shop with WiFi you will find a myriad of patrons. Some are engaged in business dialogue of some sort, others are working diligently on their tablets, smart phones, and/or computers. Besides the access to unlimited coffee, you have a creative atmosphere that is opposite the traditional cubicle/ isolated office environment we are usually accustomed to. I like to grab the latest Harvard Business Review or MIT Sloan Management magazines and sip on a caramel latte with soy and indulge in information and great coffee.
What are 'sip-worthy moments? I like to think of them as moments to pause and indulge in savory information. Think about when you have a cup of coffee (or tea for those tea-lovers). You breathe in the aroma and savor the tastes. At that precise moment you have to pause because a.) it's HOT and b.) you have to check to make sure it is the way you want it. Then you either continue enjoying the coffee while you get on with your day or you fix it adding in more cream or sweetener or have another made all together. That is the purpose of this blog, to give you sip-worthy moments that you can savor and apply to your business or whatever you are focused on. I hope you come back often and I welcome ideas and comments on any of my posts.
